The artworks celebrate the many flavours and tastes that make up Bombay, the city that inspires Dishoom endlessly. Just like a Dishoom meal, the hero artwork is a celebration of abundance – a table overflowing with food, rich in detail and togetherness. Hands, both big and little, reach across a delicious spread, perfectly capturing the joy of a meal at Dishoom.
One showcases Dishoom's Goan Monkfish Curry which is rich, striking with a bright feistiness. Sublime to eat, a sight to behold. The other tries to capture the vibrancy of Bombay's iconic Pau Bhaji, straight from Chowpatty Beach! Refreshed with a bottle of Thums Up, Manuja evokes fond memories of evenings spent tearing pau at sunset. A clattering of three-compartment trays, a rhythmic mash of bhaji against a hot tawa. A name is called, trays pass hurriedly from hand to hand, until one finally reaches you.
